MY STORY

Samuel P. Royer

As a United States Marine Corps Veteran, Samuel P. Royer understands the sacrifices made by our everyday Heroes. That’s why he started Heroes First Home Loans. The mission of Heroes First is to help the men and women who serve their country and communities purchase or refinance a home. With over 25 years in the mortgage industry, Sam and his team bring the knowledge, expertise, and professionalism to serve our Heroes — it’s something they’re truly passionate about!

As a member of the Flagler County, Florida Sheriff’s Office P.A.L. Board, the Flagler Beach Police Foundation Board, and Team Daytona Law Enforcement Charities Board, Sam has helped raise over $100,000 for fallen officers. In addition, he’s co-authored a book, Called to Serve, highlighting the people who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe.

The Heroes First team has closed over 5,000 home loans ranging from VA and FHA to USDA and conventional. They’re also working to further home affordability with the Homes for Every Local Protector, Educator, and Responder (HELPER) Act. This bipartisan bill will allow teachers, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics/EMT’s the opportunity to achieve the dream of homeownership in the towns they serve.
